Most recently, Kenia served as the Chief of Staff at Equis, where she helped lead the team during a rapid period of growth. During the 2020 election cycle, she served as National Director for Win Justice, a high-impact collaboration between Community Change Action, Color of Change PAC, SEIU, and Planned Parenthood Votes, successfully mobilizing over 5.3 million voters across battleground states. Before, as Nevada Director for America Votes, she significantly expanded the coalition’s footprint and played a critical role in electing Democratic champions at all levels of government.

Her career also includes work at the local and state levels, where she led efforts to defeat harmful reproductive health measures, elect pro-reform mayors, expand healthcare access for Latino and immigrant communities, and successfully block state senate recalls. Kenia is deeply proud of her Nicaraguan heritage and lives with her husband and two children.
